At Young McKenzie Apprenticeship Academy, we’re creating opportunities for young women aged 16–25 across Maidstone, Kent and surrounding areas to discover careers in plastering and painting & decorating.
No previous experience needed. No pressure to have it all figured out.
Just bring your determination, a willingness to learn and a positive attitude.
WHAT COULD YOU LEARN?
Painting & Decorating
Learn the skills behind professional decorating, from preparation and painting to finishing techniques
Wallpapering
Wallpapering training covers the practical and theoretical skills needed to prepare walls, select and mix adhesive, measure and cut lengths accurately.
Plastering
Discover the tools, techniques and practical skills used to create professional plastered finishes
MORE THAN JUST TRAINING
Our aim is to help you develop real, practical trade skills.
Work towards recognised qualifications through suitable training and Build confidence and independence. You will Receive guidance and encouragement.
WE ALL START SOMEWHERE
